During my recent stay at Meddusa, I encountered significant service challenges that overshadowed the culinary experiences I eagerly anticipated. The hotel's restaurant offered a complimentary buffet breakfast that included a diverse selection, featuring flaky pastries and savory olives, reminiscent of the flavors of home in Seoul. I enjoyed the ambiance, which elegantly blended local charm with modern decor. In an effort to unwind from a day of exploration, I visited the bar/lounge. The inventive cocktails crafted from local ingredients were a highlight, providing a refreshing twist that was much appreciated after a long day. My overall experience was unfortunately marred by an incident involving my wife, who suffered injuries from a shattered shower door. Despite my immediate request for assistance, the reception response was lacking, and necessary support took hours to materialize. Our room was not attended to promptly, leaving us in an uncomfortable and distressing situation. While Meddusa's culinary offerings have the potential to delight, my hope is to receive the attention and care they deserve, ensuring that extraordinary flavors are matched by impeccable service.
